Introducing a nominee for Junior Sportswoman of the Year, Megan Nestor.

At the School and Club level this 14 year old dynamo was  instrumental in her school capturing both the Under 16 and Under 19 Schools Netball title.

She participated in a number of tournaments at the Community level, and picked up the following awards. Best Shooter at the Choiseul Rama; MVP at the Challenger Netball Rama.

She was a member of the Windward Islands School Games where St. Lucia placed second overall, defeating St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the first time at that level.

Despite being the youngest player on the side – 14 years Megan captured the MVP Title for Team St. Lucia at the OECS Under 23 Netball Tournament.

At the Jean Pierre Under 16 Caribbean Netball championships Megan was selected on the All Star team and was adjudged one of the 15 top players.

Megan has given hope to junior players, demonstrating to them if you work hard and produce results, their age will not determine their destiny.

Currently she is a member of the Canaries team participating in the Independence Club Netball Tournament.
