He continued his fine performance by picking up  another Best Boxer Award after winning the Gold medal at the Dominica Invitational Boxing Tournament in May. Later that same month he won a silver medal at the Martinique Invitational Boxing Tournament.

Between the months of June – September Nathan maintained his consistency in winning gold at the Guadeloupe Club Championship, gold at the Eighth Annual Creole Championship in Cayenne, and another gold at the Ronald Wilson Boxing Tournament in Barbados. He crowned out the year with a very impressive showing at the Caribbean Development Boxing tournament where he had to settle for the silver medal.
