Usain Bolt Competes In Final Race on Home Soil

Eight time Olympic Medalist and triple world record holder Usain Bolt, competed for the final time in Jamaica on Saturday, at the JN Racers Grand Prix at the National Stadium in Kingston. Bolt won the 100m sprint in a time of 10.03s, which is the same time in which he finished his first ever professional race 10 years ago.

Following the race was a fireworks display at the stadium, during which Usain celebrated with the crowd. Usain will retire from the sport of Track in Field in 2017, following the World Championships in London where he will contest the 100m.
